May Creations

Looks like I got a little crafty in May, so here are some things I made:

This is the wall decoration I did for our librarian for Teacher Appreciation Week. I learned how to make the 3D books from another blog (I also made one for the primary bulletin board), but I can't find it right now. Anyway, they're pretty easy and look cute! This is a thought/treat I made to take when the Beehive advisor and I went to visit our girls. It says: There are so many REESE'S we are excited to be your leaders! We look forward to having MOUNDS of fun with you and lots of SNICKERS at our activities!
These are some sock balls I made out of some of Evie's old socks to put in my substitute bag for playing Silent Ball. The rules of Silent Ball are 1) Be silent! 2) The judge rules! The students throw it to each other across the room and if the ball is dropped the judge decides if the thrower or the catcher is out. (Isn't that right Mom?) Directions: Fill bottom of a sock with stuffing. Cut the top off, leaving enough fabric to tuck in a little. Stitch hole closed. And here is a bunch of jewelry I made. I've never really made it before and was quite pleased with how easy it was when I had the right supplies and tools! The wood background ones are my first attempts and the black felt background ones are my second attempts.

Charm necklace inspired by one Felicity got for her birthday.

I took apart the bracelet above and came up with this instead. Much more interesting.
